Science Safety Workshops July 18-23, 2010 in Raleigh NC Site to be determined. Seminar participants will receive a training DVD (normally $1000) as part of the tuition. This DVD is only available to participants who have taken this one week seminar. Seminar participants will be able to train their science personnel in departmental meetings. Therefore, school systems can satisfy the OSHA mandate of having a live person available to answer questions. You will not have teachers missing class time nor sub pay. Hotel is also included in the $1500 tuition charge. NO one can buy this DVD unless they have had the 1 week safety seminar. Kelly Ryan, nationally renown School Law attorney and author of Science Classroom Safety & the Law, will be presenting the Legal part of this course. Kelly also wrote / edited the Legal Chapter in the Second Edition of the Science Laboratory Safety Manual by Linda M. Stroud.
